Taichung City's "Performing Arts support PLUS" Relief Plan 6 picks up

In response to the heating up of the local epidemic in COVID-19, performing arts team performances, workshops and promotional activities were cancelled or postponed to jointly combat the epidemic. To help the performing arts team tide over the difficulties, Taichung City-Culture Bureau launched the "2021 Performing Arts support PLUS" relief measures, providing four major measures: "venue free", "relief requirements", "relaxation period" and "consultation platform". The second wave of pickup operations of this year's rescue plan will be launched on June 1st, with a maximum approval of 200000 yuan for a single team to support the development of local performing arts teams and the arts environment.

The Culture Bureau said that the Taichung City brand performing arts team cancelled or postponed more than 190 activities from May to June, affecting many performances and promotion plans, and artists were also faced with livelihood difficulties. The Culture Bureau upgraded and launched the four major relief measures "2021 Performing Arts support PLUS". First of all, "venues are free". From January to December this year, Taichung city performing arts groups use the performing arts space in the centers of the Culture Bureau for free.

In response to the continuing impact of the serious special infectious pneumonia epidemic, the first wave of this year approved 48 Taichung City Performing Arts Group plans in May this year, with a total funding of 6 million yuan. The team has to adjust the plan to online or outdoor performances in response to the epidemic. The Culture Bureau will start picking up the second wave of the relief plan from June 1st. The "relaxation period" is a performing arts activity subsidized by the Bureau of Culture, which has to be postponed to the end of the year in the light of the epidemic, while the "consultation platform" continues to provide professional advice and guidance, and releases information on arts relief of the Ministry of Culture and the Bureau of Culture immediately through the official account of "Taichung City-Performing Arts platform TCGPA" Line.

The Culture Bureau pointed out that the second wave of the performing arts relief program has been open since June 1, encouraging the team to continue to accumulate creative energy during the epidemic. As long as the Taichung City Performing Arts Group is registered, it can apply. The proposal plan includes sheet music, script and dance code creation, skill inheritance, teaching plan research and development, lecture courses, etc., with a maximum approval of 200000 yuan for a single team, and the proportion of funding for the first phase can reach 80%. Reduce the expenditure burden of the team in the early stage of the plan.

The Culture Bureau said that in response to the epidemic last year, the Culture Bureau launched the "Arts Relief Program 2021" in response to the epidemic, and launched the "Arts Relief Program 2021" in February this year. Now, in response to the rising epidemic, the Arts Relief measures have been expanded and extended to the end of the year to help performing arts groups tide over their difficulties.
