With the enhancement of the awareness of environmental protection, there is a growing desire to seek an efficient, non-toxic and environmentally friendly substitute for pesticides. The author has been engaged in garden work for 12 years. According to the accumulation of experience, this paper introduces several methods of preventing and controlling flowers and insect pests with daily necessities. The practice of Chinese staff has proved that the methods listed are effective to insect pests, have no pollution to the environment, and have no effect on the normal growth of plants.

1 control of aphids

Using washing powder can kill aphids, whiteflies and so on. When in use, dilute it with 5g detergent and 80g warm water, stir evenly and spray on the insect body of the damaged plant, every 3-5 days, 3 times in a row.

Take 50g of fresh pepper, add 50g / 100g of water, boil it in a pot for half an hour and then filter it. The filtrate is sprayed on the damaged parts of the plant, each time at intervals of 6 to 7 days, 3 times in a row.

Mix the detergent, urea and water at the ratio of 1100 to 100, mix well, and then spray on the damaged parts of the plant, each time at intervals of 7 to 8 days, 3 times in a row.

Add water 0.5kg to green onion 1kg, smash the juice, mix the juice with water 6kg, mix them evenly, and then spray the damaged plants at intervals of 3-5 days for 3 consecutive times.

2 control of scale insects

Shell insects can be controlled with the extract of onion or garlic. When in use, two pieces of garlic were mashed and soaked in 2kg water for half a day, and then the clear liquid was taken and sprayed on the injured part, once every 3-4 days, all pests could be killed for 3 days in a row. And it can also have the effect of sterilization and inhibit the reproduction and spread of germs.

Repeated rubbing of the damaged plants with 75% alcohol can kill both adults and larvae. This method can only be used in the case of low pest index or few potted seedlings, and is not suitable for large area planting and high occurrence of pest index.

The detergent, diesel oil and water were adjusted into milk-like raw liquid according to the ratio of 0.3-5-meter-3, then doubled with water and sprayed with a diluent containing 30% oil. After 7 days, most of the insect carcasses were withered, the body color turned brown and died.

Mixing 1 part of liquor with 2 parts of water, watering through the surface of the basin soil, once every half a month, 4 times continuously can kill most of the pests.

Soak 30 or so cigarette butts in 500g water for one day and night, filter and spray with a little soap. It is effective against nymphs of scale insects.

3 control of red spiders

The wind oil essence was diluted 600 to 800 times, then sprayed on the injured plants, every 3-5 days, three times in a row, it could kill the nymphs of the red spider; take fresh bovine urine 1kg and water 25kg solution, then spray on the damaged plants, and kill the insects quickly and thoroughly; take 10g detergent, 20% concentration of caustic soda 13ml, water 6.5kg, mix into a mixed solution, then spray on the damaged plants, spray twice in a row, the insect will die out Place the ignited mosquito-repellent incense in the plant basin and tie the plant together with a plastic bag. After smoking for 1 hour, all the worms will die.
