What is the classification of flowers? There are many kinds of flowers with a wide range, including not only flowering plants, but also mosses and ferns, and their cultivation and application methods are also varied. Therefore, because of the different basis, there are many methods of flower classification. The commonly used classification methods are:

, classified according to botanical system. Its classification is based on the morphological characteristics of botany, classified according to families, genera, species and varieties, and named after the Latin form.

Second, it should be classified according to natural distribution. It is mainly divided into tropical flowers, temperate flowers, cold zone flowers, alpine plants, aquatic flowers, rock flowers and desert plants.

Fourth, according to the classification of ornamental parts, it can be divided into flowering flowers, fruit flowers, stem flowers and foliage flowers.

Fifth, it is classified according to the natural flowering season. It is divided into spring flowers, summer flowers, autumn flowers and winter flowers.

Sixth, according to the classification of economic use, it is divided into ornamental flowers, medicinal flowers, spice flowers and edible flowers.

Seventh, it should be classified according to ecological habits. Mainly divided into annual herbaceous flowers, biennial herbaceous flowers, perennial herbaceous flowers and woody flowers.

Eighth, classify according to the country of origin. It is divided into seven climatic types. In the area to which each climatic type belongs, the natural distribution center of wild flowers is formed because of the unique climatic conditions. The seven climate types are: climate type, European climate type, Mediterranean climate type, Mexico climate type, tropical climate type, desert climate type and cold climate type.
