Dading stove reappears rural cooking culture in Dongshi Taizai Community, Chiayi County

On the morning of January 17, the Tai Tsai Community in Dongshi Township, Chiayi County, jointly created a melon shed flower rack and "Dading stove" next to the "Chai Xiang stove cooking early taste, warm heart transmission" results release activities. Weng Zhangliang, the county magistrate, personally came to the community to congratulate and cook tangyuan with local residents and friends to celebrate the opening.

Weng Zhangliang, the county magistrate, was full of nostalgia when he saw Dadingchao. When he was a child, he shared that Dazhao cooking was also used at home, and there were even two Dadingchao in the family. Each time, more than a dozen people gathered together for dinner. He shared that Dadingzao is a warm place for inheriting life and cultural memories. For elders, it symbolizes the good memories of youth. We hope that Tai Tsai Community will make use of Dadingchao and unite the community's centripetal force. But also through food to bring everyone happiness and happiness.

Last year, the Tung Shek Tai Tsai Community was proposed by its directors, Chen Junxu and Wu Mingchang, to apply for the "Community planner Scheme" of the Chiayi County-Integrated Planning Office. Through long communication and discussion with the residents, it was selected on the land provided by the landlord Yang Dongyao to create a place where everyone's feelings can be gathered and can rest and gather. With the "Dading stove" as the core, it is not only a community kitchen but also a multi-functional activity space.

Although the Tai Tsai Community is facing the problem of an aging population, with the efforts of the Community Development Association, more than 30 70-to 80-year-olds participate in the Changzhao C stronghold five days a week. In this construction process, the elders also participated in part of the work. I hope it can also be used as a venue for outdoor courses in the future, so that the elders can bask in the sun more healthily.
