All Belgian restaurants, coffee and banquet catering can only serve takeout before 10pm or sadly close down since November 2020! The stringent anti-epidemic measures implemented for more than two months have indeed enabled Belgium to effectively control the spread of the virus and ease the pressure on health care through the rise of the second or even third wave of new viruses in Europe. However, the closure of restaurants on relief is not a long-term solution, and many operators choose to cooperate with Uber eat, Deliveroo, and Take away delivery platforms. However, the business scope of the delivery platform is limited to densely populated and restaurant-intensive metropolitan areas. As I live in the countryside, I can only dream about delivery and so on. It is rare to seize the opportunity to record my observation of "the Last mile of Food" and compare the delivery platform industry and labor methods in Taiwan and Western Europe.

"Zhuangjiao Man" for the first time, I ordered food through APP delivery and dedicated it to the "generous" Taiwanese restaurant in Brussels. When I pressed the confirmation button, I was surprised that the delivery fee (4.95 euros, about NT $171) accounted for 30% of the meal cost! A week later, on my second "generous" order, I received a full refund from Uber
