When we sow some small flower seeds, the emergence rate is often very low, which makes flower friends very painful. Today, the editor will share it with you.

Methods to improve the emergence rate of fine flower seeds:

First of all, you must fully understand the characteristics of the seed. Of course, it also includes the required temperature, humidity, light, soil and so on, which is very critical. For example: Germany primrose can not soak seeds, the flower is easy to lose its vitality after soaking seeds. The seeds of Ranunculus ranunculus prefer low temperature, and the seedling temperature should be about 8 ℃, but it is difficult to emerge if it is more than 12 ℃. The seeds of petunia and paulownia should be about 25 ℃. If the seeds are soaked and left at low temperature for 1-2 days, the seeds may rot away and not a single seedling will come out. Some seeds are light, and some are light-disgusted. Good seedlings can only be raised under suitable environmental conditions.

Secondly, the correct sowing equipment should be selected. Choose a hard plastic nursery box with a length of 50-60 cm, a width of 30-40 cm, a height of 8-10 cm and many small holes at the bottom. You can also use boards to make their own, the size depends on the amount of sowing, but not too high. When it is too high, if there is too much soil, it is not easy to dry for a long time; if there is less soil, the four walls higher than the container will affect the light. The bottom of the wooden box should be drained, and must be soaked in water for 2-3 days before use, until soaked thoroughly, otherwise the box and soil are easy to separate.

Prepare the matrix again. The rotten barnyard manure, humus soil, fine sand and garden soil are sifted with a sieve that can sift sorghum rice according to the ratio of 2 to 1, and then sterilized by sun exposure for a day.

In addition, packing. First spread a layer of 1-2 cm cinder the size of soybean grains to the bottom of the box. Then spread the prepared matrix on it and flatten it, 4-5 cm thick. Then use the sieve on the sieve surface to screen a small matrix, about 1 mm, to fill the soil particles, so as to prevent the tiny seeds from falling into the soil and unable to break out of the soil. But not too much fine soil, otherwise it is easy to grow moss.

Sow seeds. Mix the seeds and fine sand in a bowl in a ratio of 1000-2000, and sprinkle evenly on the substrate. Then use a smooth plank to gently press on the soil layer, do not compact, so that the seeds can be combined with the soil. Soak the wooden box in water, the water level should not exceed the soil surface, and add water as you soak until it is soaked. Take the soaked water tank out of the water, cover it with glass to moisturize (do not use plastic film, because it is easy to hurt seedlings by dripping), control the water slightly, and immediately move it to an environment suitable for seed budding. Depending on the variety, the fast ones germinate in 4-5 days and the slow ones sprout in 7-10 days. After the seeds germinate, remove the glass and wait for most of the seedlings to be moved to a place suitable for growth and maintenance. It is worth noting that when two true leaves are not grown, never water or spray water from above. Others are carried out according to the normal seedling stage management.

This is the way to improve the emergence rate of small flower seeds. In short, we should pay close attention to every step and every detail in the actual operation. Only in this way can we improve the emergence rate of small flower seeds. Interested friends can give it a try.
