When planting cabbage, it is found that cabbage rot is very annoying, and the reasons for cabbage rot are related to various factors, mainly the following. When you find out, it's best to know how to rot before solving it, so that the effect is good.

1. Root rot

Root rot is one of the most common diseases of Chinese cabbage. Many cabbages carry this pathogen themselves, and it is easy to induce this disease in the early spring or wet season. This rot usually has a smell, and it is mainly concentrated on the surface and below the soil layer, so it is easier to judge. For diseases like this, it is generally recommended to change the seeds in time during subsequent planting, and then use chemicals to treat them. It is best to use some control agents at the initial stage.

2. Water rot

Water rot is mainly concentrated in the type of land near the paddy field, which is usually caused by the arrival of the rainy season or the severe moisture of the soil. The demand for daily watering of cabbage is not high, so the water in the cabbage field is easy to accumulate. When the cabbage is soaked in water for a long time, its surface will slowly be eroded, then rot, and finally form water rot. As the time required for water rot is not long, it is often easy to appear in batches, so special attention should be paid to soil drainage at this time.

3. Fat rot

Fertilizer is an important source of nutrients for vegetables. At present, many people in rural areas still have the habit of using farm manure, but these farm manure is not very standard, and many of them are not completely mature. Such fertilizer will continue to mature after planting, if there is contact with cabbage at this time, then cabbage will also be affected by the reaction during the ripening time, resulting in decay. Too much fertilizer can also lead to this situation in cabbage, because cabbage absorbs more nutrients than it needs, which eventually leads to rot.

4. Insect pests

This type of rot is relatively difficult to prevent. Cabbage has many layers, which is conducive to the hiding of insects. When some pests survive on cabbage for a long time, the destruction of cabbage and the pollution of feces will lead to cabbage rot. In addition, some bugs love the rotten environment, so they will take the initiative to create such an environment, and in the end, cabbage will naturally become more rotten because of insect pests.

These are some of the reasons for cabbage rot, many of which are preventable. Planting this mainly depends on prevention, because every time the disease occurs, it is an abnormal loss.
