Delta Group announced the latest products and solutions, operating strongholds, green building energy-saving achievements, in which products and solutions saved a total of 11.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in four years, equivalent to a reduction of 6.38 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Delta Group, the global leader in power management and cooling solutions, released the latest energy-saving results at the 2014 Hannover Industrial Exhibition in Germany. Delta's energy-efficient products and solutions saved a total of 11.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from 2010 to 2013, equivalent to a reduction of 6.38 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

In terms of energy conservation in operating strongholds, the power intensity (10,000 kWh / million output value) decreased by 40.4% in 2013 (the base year was 2009). In terms of green building energy conservation, Taiwan Power currently has a total of 11 certified green building plants and donations to green buildings, saving a total of 11.63 million kilowatt-hours of electricity compared with the EUI (annual electricity consumption per square meter) benchmark.

Hai Yingjun, chairman of Delta Power, said that Delta continues to implement the business philosophy of "environmental protection, energy saving and loving the earth" in the company's operation and business promotion. In the past year or so, there have been nearly 100 successful cases around the world. Cases related to energy conservation can save an average of 20% and 40% for customers.

Zhang Caixing, general manager of Delta's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, said that regional and representative cooperation in 2013 included factory automation solutions for Turkish electroplating lines, British shipyards, Italian biomass power plants and Dutch packaging industries, and UPS energy saving programs for Polish airports and Russian railways.
