Planting environment: suitable for planting in sandy areas with sufficient light, good drainage and fertile elevation of 1000-2300 meters above sea level. Soil preparation and planting: after ploughing the soil, furrow and ridge are opened and planted on the back of the ridge. Planting time: most of them are planted in spring. Fertilizer and water management: the amount of water to be irrigated depends on the local precipitation, and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be applied during the growth period. Post-management: the time of harvest is around October.

I. planting environment

1. Snow lotus fruit is more suitable for growing in sandy areas with an altitude of 1000-2300 meters, sufficient light, good drainage, breathable and fertile, and the suitable growth temperature is 20-30 ℃. If the temperature is too low, you can choose to grow in the greenhouse.

2. Because the cold resistance of snow lotus fruit is relatively poor, especially in the early emergence stage, the temperature requirement is very strict, when sowing, the temperature needs to be controlled above 15 ℃.

II. Land preparation and planting

2500kg farm manure can be applied per mu, furrow and ridge after ploughing the soil, planting on the back of the ridge, the plant spacing should be controlled at about 60cm, and the row spacing should be controlled at about 1 meter. In order to prevent seedlings from being attacked by underground pests, an appropriate amount of quicklime can be put into the planting hole in advance.

Third, planting time

The planting time depends on the region, and most of them are carried out in spring. if the soil of 5cm in shallow soil is suitable for planting at about 14-15, there are many ways of planting, which can be planted directly with stem blocks, seedling transplanting, branching in summer, and cutting planting with underground side branches of Mengsheng.

IV. Fertilizer and water management

1. Snow lotus fruit is not suitable to grow in a wet environment, so the plant should be drained in time in the rainy season, and the amount of water should be determined according to the local precipitation. When watering, the plant should be irrigated to the root of the plant. If the winter temperature is below 5 ℃, try to water less.

2. Some nitrogen fertilizer is mainly used in spring, some phosphate fertilizer is mainly applied in summer, and potash fertilizer is used in autumn, which generally depends on the growth of the plant.

V. late-stage management

1. When the height of the plant reaches 20cm after planting, attention should be paid to watering and cultivating the soil. During the period of weeding, the height of the ridge should be raised to more than 30cm. If basal fertilizer is applied before, there is no need for topdressing for the time being, because snow lotus fruit is a green and pollution-free food, so pesticides should not be used when planting, so in every link of planting, we should pay attention to the growth of the plant, if diseased branches are found. Isolation and radical cure should be carried out.

2. If the planting density is relatively high and the fertility is not poor, when the height of the plant is about 1 meter, there will be some tillering branches, which can be pruned properly, otherwise there is no need for pruning, and the harvest time is around October. When the small yellow flower withered, it can be excavated and harvested.

3. If you plant to the south of the Huaihe River, you can stay in the ground until March of the second year, but to the north of the Huaihe River, the temperature will be relatively low, so you need to dig out places such as cellars in time for preservation. If you want to keep seeds for planting, you can cut off the harvested fruit with budding eyes, wait until the cut is air-dried, soak in potassium permanganate solution for about 2 minutes.

4. Fish it out and put it in the wet sand, then shelve it in a cool and warm environment, wait until the second year to plant it, or in late September, take off the seed cones to it after harvest, and then make the buds cut up directly in the sand. In the second year, the buds grow to small seedlings about 4cm in length, and can be planted directly.
