Although South Korea imports pineapples mainly from the Philippines, under the active expansion of the county government, the sales volume of Pingtung pineapples exported to South Korea has increased by multiple compared with previous years, and South Korean orders are increasing day by day.

Pan Mengan, the county magistrate, said that although China's ban on the import of pineapples caused the impact of 30,000 tons of pineapples in Pingtung, the county government exported the goods to other countries such as Japan and Singapore by means of diversion, and expanded the domestic demand market. to this end, we call on farmers not to panic, do not rush to harvest, do not cut price competition, and the consumer side of the market should not rush to buy, and buy more during the peak period, so as to stabilize the market through diversion and purchase. It is also hoped that through this time, the pineapple industry will be deeply cultivated as a new opportunity for the future next year.
