If you have fish every year, you will become plastic every year! Plastic pollution is pervasive. Disposable plastic products are cracked into plastic particles, eaten by marine organisms, and accumulated into the human body through the food chain. Greenpeace estimates that each Chinese person consumes an average of 16300 plastic particles from seafood each year, weighing about 1.05g, which is equivalent to a plastic straw.

According to the domestic research literature in the past five years, shellfish has the largest intake of plastic particles from seafood. Greenpeace calls on the Environmental Protection Agency to strengthen the source control of disposable plastic products and send them out as soon as possible; strengthen plastic restrictions, increase fees and incentives, and promote reuse and accelerate the elimination of disposable plastics.
