There has been a lot of controversy over surface optoelectronics. Recently, some optoelectronics companies have applied to the Pingtung county government to plant electricity in the beds of Shimangxi and Towenxi, but this is the producing area of Mango. Hundreds of fruit farmers jumped at this, and on January 16, fruit growers in Miliao Township and Weishan Township in Pingtung County formed a self-help association. Fengliao fruit farmers say that the photovoltaic industry did not give an explanation from beginning to end, but they came directly to cut down the mango trees of the fruit farmers during the boundary, making the farmers feel disrespected and angry.

The mango orchard here is almost all state-owned land, and the Gongliao Township Government Office calls on farmers who have leased state-owned land, have applied and have not yet received the lease letter to refuse the lobbying of photovoltaic operators; farmers who have not yet applied for lease should prepare materials to lease the land as soon as possible. Mr. Wen, who is in charge of the Pingtung Office of the State property Administration, said that there were 83 cases of land involved, and the operators had to lobby for the consent of all the lessee farmers within two years, otherwise they would not be able to carry out the case.
