Flowers often suffer from diseases in the process of growth and reproduction. If it is not prevented in time, it will not only affect the normal growth and reproduction of flowers, but also cause death. The common diseases of flowers and their control methods are described as follows:

(i) rust. It mainly harms roses, roses and roses. Leaves, stems, and buds of the injured plants produce orange and black powders. Control methods: reasonable application of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium mixed fertilizer; soil too wet should be timely drainage; once the disease, to cut off diseased branches, diseased leaves; spray 65% zinc wettable powder 500-600 times liquid.

(ii) Powdery mildew. It mainly harms chrysanthemum, rose, rose, rose and so on. The branches and leaves of the diseased plants grow a layer of white powder, the leaves are withered, the branches are deformed, and the flowers are small and few when serious, and even die. Control methods: timely cut off diseased branches, diseased leaves; spray 25% carbendazim 700-800 times solution, or 70% topozine 8000-1000 times solution.

(iii) Anthrax. Main harm cactus, cyclamen, hydrangea, orchids and so on. The leaves and stems of the affected flowers grow purple-brown or pale brown spots, and when severe, the leaves wither. Prevention and control methods: pay attention to ventilation and light transmission; control soil humidity; timely cut off the affected parts; spray 70% topzin 500-600 times solution or 50% carbendazim at the early stage of the disease.

(iv) Viral diseases. The main harm narcissus, peony, lily, flower, etc. The diseased plants showed mosaic, mottled, etc. Control methods: frequent weeding, uprooting, burning sick plants; spraying to kill aphids, whitefly, etc.

(v) Black spot disease. Main harm rose, rose and so on. The affected flowers produce blackish brown spots, causing the leaves to fall off. Control methods: timely litter, defoliation, and pruning; pay attention to cleaning and drainage; spray 130-160 times equivalent Bordeaux mixture, or 50% carbendazim 500-800 times solution.

(6) Brown spot disease. It mainly harms chrysanthemum, plum blossom, etc. There are brown spots or black-brown spots on the leaves of diseased plants, and the leaves are getting black and dead. Control methods: immediately pruning pruning, remove diseased branches, diseased leaves; drainage to wet; spray 100 times equivalent Bordeaux mixture, or 50% zinc wettable powder 600 times solution.
