When decay occurs at the root, it can be completely saved, and if it is not saved immediately, it itself cannot be repaired. After rotting the root, remove it from the basin, remove the sticky soil, and cut off the rotten rhizome. Prepare potassium permanganate solution for disinfection and new bonsai soil in advance, put it on the pot after disinfecting the plant, and put it in a ventilated cool place to wait for roots.

Can it be saved?

The magnolia can be saved after the rootstock is rotten. Its growth and development ability is very good, but if you are willing to let it repair itself, the foundation is unlikely to be maintained. Therefore, when it is found that the root of the plant is rotten, it should be saved as soon as possible. After a series of rescues, we must also grasp the effective maintenance methods, give it a small amount of water in ordinary times, and pay attention to good ventilation, so as to avoid rotting roots again.

II. Salvage methods

1. Eliminate rotten roots: remove the plant from the basin and remove the sticky soil. If you can't see what rotten roots are, wash them with tap water. Use neat and sharp scissors to cut off the rotting roots, and if the stem is rotten, it must be cut off.

2. Disinfection and sterilization: cutting the root can not immediately remove the basin, because there will be residual pathogens above, so potassium permanganate solution should be used to disinfect it before putting on the basin. Soak its roots in water, soak it for 10 minutes, and then dry it.

3. Move the hair: prepare a new soil layer in advance again, and plant the magnolia in the future. At first, you should put it in a well-ventilated place, and you don't have to accept the sun first, so that it will take root quickly.
